Mars 2017
The question of having a space of binge drinking for the youth is a reccurent issue in many spanish cities. The main problem being the behavior under the use of alcohol or drugs.
The Urban Screen project proposes to create a link between the students and the place, raising awareness in the preservation of the “Botellódromo”.

By designing a modular public space managed with a mobile app that will make the students involved in the making of various participative events, it converts the spaces into a cultural center for students and all citizens of Granada.
A simple concept; a screen made of leds and projectors covers the ground allowing the users to draw any space they want according to their activity, creating digital spaces. In addition to that a stock of various furniture’s is avaible through an extruded wall connecting to a stock in the lower levels of the parking. The furniture can be connected to the screen and project a drawing area, like a basketball field or a giant playing twister, watching a movie, making digital tags or any other activity. During a night party the screen can be used as informative floor, indicate the location of a friend, toilets and food. Inifnite uses ar possible, making the interaction between people and urban space brand new.
The project aims to create an unique and playfull party space that will make people and events interact, we hope that they will be more conscious and respectfull of the urban tissue. An thinking the bonds between architecture and the digital media.
The project received a Honorable Mention
