The structure is based on a central trunk that reminds the image of a tree. The underground represents the roots, where you can find the archives and consult books in a classical way. The ground floor is designed to welcome multiples events and the three upper levels are connected to the main trunk through a progressive modulation of the structure into a organic designed furniture. The structure of each floor offers its own particularities and viewpoints according to the context as well as a possibility to experience reading differently. Moreover, the central trunk structure contains meeting rooms or introspection spaces as well as technical facilities such as vertical circulation, while the periphery is used as book storage. Finally, the envelope of the project is a smart dome that is capable to recycle solar energy and also guarantee air change. Thanks to the transparent skin, the central bookshelf can be seen from the outside. 

In conclusion, by reversing the classical architecture of libraries, the unusual form of the Tr3sensation creates a relationship with its environment and defines a new way to experience libraries. The library strive to become a meeting point where people could exchange and increase their knowledge.
